From the magnificent expanses of breathtaking sunsets in late summer and the evocative call of guinea fowl, to the colourful sunlit display of Bulklip, wildlife is very much a part of the landscape in Waterberg Estates. It is an integral part of the Estates experience for residents and visitors, young and old, the expert and the curious alike.
The Waterberg Estate is home to large animal populations and inexhaustible birdlife as well as invertebrates, plants, amphibians and reptiles. This beautiful area with its wildlife and breathtaking surroundings is regarded as a truly beautiful and remote place. A landscape feature is Bulklip with a height of 937m on the farm Bulklip and two other rocky outcrops known as the “Koei” and “Kalf” with heights of 894m and 930m respectively and situated on the farms Welgevonden and Grootpan.
Waterberg Estates is located off the Deelkraal district road (D41), approximately 30 km north-west of Lephalale in the Limpopo Province. The farm is ±15 000ha and the main objective is rare species breeding and conservation.
